That little something extra. In addition to the monthly newsletter, Egg Cream members will receive a Slice plus a special tour of one of New York’s food manufacturing plants. They also will be acknowledged in our year-end newsletter. Our daily bread. Slice members receive our fantastic monthly newsletter, with occasional special surprises.
The remembered prize of New York’s Harbor. Oyster members receive all of the benefits above, including year-end acknowledgment, and will be invited to mingle with our special friends at a NY Food Museum cocktail party.
Event sponsorship. Additional giving options are available, with benefits to match. NY Food Museum programs are a combination of creative energy and cost-efficient planning — donors will receive the best value for the giving dollar in publicity and community goodwill. In addition, you will be making a substantial contribution to the vibrancy of city life that benefits all New Yorkers. Event sponsorship can range from $1,500 - $5,000. We will work with you to identify appropriate co-sponsors for large events. Substantial non-earmarked contributions will be recognized in all NY Food Museum literature and on our website. The NY Food Museum receives more than its share of press and media attention, and sponsorship will be acknowledged in all Museum materials. Call us for details.
3 hours each week of donated volunteer time with a food-related non-profit organization. Slice-level membership is free to those who work an average of three hours a week in soup kitchens, community nutrition programs, Meals on Wheels, God's Love We Deliver, City Harvest, or other organizations that help guarantee food security and food safety for your community, however you define it. Just send in your volunteer schedule with the name and contact information of the organization you work with and we will give you a year-long membership.

Our newly-designed bi-monthly newsletter delivers in-depth articles and fun facts about New York’s food supply and food history. Past articles have featured the history and future of the Fulton Fish Market, the history of City-run markets in Manhattan, urban honey, food industry buildings and much more.
